The use of Drones in the sale of Property Marketing has become very popular in the last couple of years and it’s easy to see why. Drones are able to show potential buyers the property from all angles and also to give the buyer a view of the land attached to the building.
Studies in America found that the use of aerial filming in the marketing of a property helped to increase the sale by 50 % in regards to selling the property in half the time it would normally with just normal photos.
We can also seamlessly go from the aerial footage and into the inside of the property using our hand held gimbals stabilisation system to bring a complete package of filming the property as a whole giving a walk through of the building.
The story doesn’t end there, as we are one of only a few operators in the UK who also offer 3D modelling of the property as well meaning that you can combine the aerial filming from above with an interactive 3D model of the property and its land for buyers to be able to literally have a fly through of the whole estate at their command giving them complete control.
There are many reasons and benefits of using highly mobile and elevated camera platforms including: Drones can be placed or flown anywhere – unlike aerial masts which are limited to driveways and can only reach a certain height.
Drones can film – as opposed to just providing aerial stills. A “movie” especially when set to music can be a highly emotive tool for showing the beauty of any property and it grounds.
Filming with drones provides great perspective and a sense of space – very important when marketing a country estate for example with plenty of land.
Agents, land managers and other property marketers need to use the best tools possible to show their property. With the huge increase of mobile devices with broadband connections, video is the best for of media to engage the user.
Drone use is novel. We find that many viewers of our films enjoy the footage from an entertainment point of view and very much enjoy seeing real estate from a bird’s eye perspective. These videos have the ability to be more viral as viewers are more likely to share on social media than when there are photographs or ground based footage.
